Goodbye FOR-EV-ER!

So I was at a party the other night. The FINAL Castleton Arts Christmas Party ever. Most of the cast (those wonderful employees who serviced so many) was there. Lori, Amber, Dione, Dave L., Scott, Dave S., Dave P., the other Dave S., Mike S., James C., James, Pam, Sarah, Heather, Ashley, Ryan, Troy, Mike S., Erica, Shane (even tough he never worked at that theatre), Jesse and Liz.

Lots of people who I hadn't seen in years. It was good that Castleton Arts closed so close to the Holidays, it gave us an excuse to throw such a shindig.

On other notes:

The New England Patriots won again this past weekend. Their starting to gain momentum at the right time of the year.

More tapes for CRAZY ABOUT YOU have been imported!

And SERENITY came out on DVD today. You're retarded if you are reading this and don't know what I'm talking about. Okay so you're not retarded just uninformed. I can't wait for the next thing that Joss Whedon writes or directs.

As far as the NBA goes. My Celtics aren't having a steller year by any stretch of the imagination, but how about the balls on RON ARTEST. "I made a mistake, I want to play for the Pacers." What kind of b-s is that? Sounds like he has Manny's disease.

Well enough ranting today. If you read this in enough time...REBUILT is playing at BIRDY'S (71st and Keystone) tomorrow night (Dec. 21) around 9:45-10. If you want to come out and support one of my favorite local bands in INDY, I just might see you there. Feel free to say hi.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!!!!

AWESOME!!!!

So I originally wrote this on Sunday afternoon, but somehow erased it. Anyways I'll try to recreate it:

Yeah, my New England Patriots won! I'm excited (If you follow the NFL you would understand why, especially if you knew me.) to think that my team is gaining momentum heading towards the playoffs. Well here's to me hoping that they'll pull off another great post season.

So Shane was right. At least somewhat. I really enjoy the show LOST. I'm getting close to the end of the first season and it's only getting better. I find myself watching episode after episode, kind of like what I did with FIREFLY. I think Sawyer is my favorite character. I'll explain it later.

Well the new job is going well. Having lots of things to do and keep myself busy with. Also, having the chance to read a trade paperback that I've owned for months(Marvel's 1602).

Well this will have to do for now.

Oh, one last thing. How about Ron Artest? I am a Boston Celtics fan and looking at the situation from the outside, boy do I get to laugh. After the team supports him after costing Reggie Miller his ring, he pulls this crap. You get what you deserve I guess, backing a thug who thinks he can do whatever he wants on and off the court. Good luck to Larry Bird and the Pacers unloading him. I just hope he doesn't end up in green and white.

Crazy Times!

So here I am for the first time since I started working, not on the payroll of the company I started my teenage years with. I have left a company that employed me for 9 years. The feeling of relief has encountered the feeling of dread. I guess everyone goes though this when they start a new job.

Also, me leaving is bringing me closer to the realization that my favorite theatre in town is actually done for good. Yes, the Castleton Arts theatre has closed it's doors for the last time.

Enough rambling for the first time.
