DEATH RACE was awesome!!! They changed the premise but it was still fun as hell to watch. Paul W.S. Anderson has made some REALLY BAD movies in his career, but this isn't one of them.
It is EXACTLY what you think it will be...and still more than I was hoping for. Sadly this version, it is a loose remake of the cult classic DEATH RACE 2000, doesn't go around running poor unaware people over. It all takes place in a prison. Silly movie no great dialogue but lots of fun once the movie gets to the prison...which doesn't take long since the movie is only 90 minutes long.

jason statham is a boss pimp. the end scene of crank is perhaps the greatest ever as i want to make a cell call while falling from a plane too.
You know they are making a sequel to that movie...his heart is suppose to be indestructible??? WTF?
if one person could survive all that...it is jason statham. viva crank II and crank III etc.
